About AVS

Charlottesville Audio Visual Services is a division of Hollar Solutions LLC, owned and operated by Christopher Hollar, who has been in the AV business for over twenty three (23) years. Chris is a licensed, Virginia-Class A Contractor and Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) with BISCI Accreditations. He and his team of AV professionals handle the daily field-work operation, installation and service for both Charlottesville AVS as well as AVIA- the Harrisonburg/ Rockingham County office. Charlottesville Audio Visual Services has been operating in the central Virginia since 2008 and was formerly owned by Jeff Dixon, who happily retired in 2021.

Crafting large AV systems, be it for home theaters or church sound systems, is a blend of art and science. It's not just about widgets and hours; it demands technical expertise, experience, intelligence, patience, creativity, mindfulness, diligence, team coordination, and clear communication. We encapsulate this comprehensive approach as the total package of value and results.

When you engage our services, you're investing in more than just equipment and labor; you're paying for a complete Value & Results Packaging. This encompasses major material costs, accessories, installation, design, programming, integration, project management, transportation, delivery, shipping, handling, tax, customer training, and a full-year installation warranty. Our pride in this approach, combined with a commitment to ethical and personal standards, lays the groundwork for the most rewarding audiovisual project-based relationship you'll ever encounter.
